directly to me. They'll go in my "comments" folder, and won't be
looked at for weeks...then I'll just bounce them over to Alison.
I enjoy helping new writers. Last winter, though, writing
questions, which normally account for 10% of my email shot up to
90%! I suspect my name has been posted somewhere as a writer willing
to help. But all these questions to answer means less time to write.
So I've putting a moratorium on writing questions--I won't be
answering them.
I love to hear comments! I always answer, just not always in a
timely fashion. My rate of response depends on my workload. When
I'm under deadline or "on the road," all my reader email is moved
into a folder, unread, until things slow down.
