Holidays 2008

No January Update
The end of December is NEVER a good time to schedule a website update--I always scramble at the last minute.  So this is a double-month update.  And that's why you see a huge list of updates this month.

Have a great holiday season and I'll see you in February!

New CafePress Stuff
I added a few designs to CafePress last month.  There are now Frostbitten shirts, a second Otherworld shirt design and a Lyle House design for the Darkest Powers series.   All three also come as pillows--my first foray into that.  As always, they're all priced at cost (i.e. there's no mark-up that I collect from sales).  Click here for store details.

Made to Be Broken Sample Chapters
Finally, I have sample chapters for Made to Be Broken, the second Nadia book, which is due out at the beginning of March.  I've posted the first three chapters.  To read them, click here for the book page, then click the chapter links that open in the left-hand menu.

The Awakening Sample Chapters
And three chapters for The Awakening, too.  This is the second Darkest Powers book, which is due out at the beginning of May.  To read the chapters, click here for the book page, and scroll down to the Sample Chapters heading.

Frostbitten US Cover Art
We also have cover art already for the American edition of Frostbitten, due out in November 2009.  To see it, click here for the book page.  The first few chapters will come in April (or March, if you get the newsletter, which always includes early links)

2009 Online Novella
There will be a 2009 novella...but it's for the Darkest Powers series.  The subject was chosen by poll and will be announced in my December 1 "Chloe blog" on MySpace and LiveJournal.  The story will be replacing her twice-monthly blog entries starting January 15.

Bookclub Update
Our holiday selection is A.J. Menden's debut, Phenomenal Girl Five.
To jump to the bookclub forums, click here.

Contest Update
This month we have an enter-to-win and a jigsaw contest featuring the UK cover of Men of the Otherworld.  The prize?  A signed copy of any of my books. At the end of January, I'll draw two winners for each contest (double the usual # because the contest covers two months).  And keep an eye on my Twitter updates the first week in December for that promised second Men of the Otherworld ARC giveaway!
Click here to enter the contests.
The winner of the November contests were TBA and TBA.
** TBA = To Be Announced (i.e. I haven't heard back from the winner)
