It's out now! Your chance to contribute to a good cause by
reading about werewolves (so much easier than running a
marathon)
If you aren't completely sure what this book is, please check the
webpage. There's been a lot of
confusion over this one (despite my best efforts to be clear on
that!) and I don't want anyone grabbing it thinking it's a
brand-new Otherworld novel.
Zen and the Art of Vampirism
I was invited to
write a story for Subterranean Press--a very cool publisher of
limited edition cloth-bound hardcovers--as part of an anthology
of four very different fantasy authors. The anthology is
called, fittingly, A Fantasy Medley, and comes out next month.
Having complete freedom to write about anything I wanted, I
chose Zoe Takano, the vampire thief from
Broken.
The other authors are
Kate Elliott, Robin Hobb, and C.E. Murphy. It's a limited
edition run, with 200 signed and numbered cloth-bound hardcovers
(each will be signed by all four authors and the editor, Yanni
Kuznia) and 3000 unsigned.
The page is up for preorders. You'll find it:
here
Yep, it's my busy time for the year. Made to
Be Broken, the second Nadia book, comes out at the end of
February (first week of March in the UK). You'll find
details and the first three chapters here.
My second annual not-yet-complete publication schedule.
You'll fid that here.
The 2009 novella for the
Darkest Powers series has
begun. There are two chapters up now and you'll find them at my "Chloe blog" on
MySpace and
LiveJournal.
I'd promised an update in January, but didn't do a January
journal update so here it is now. The artist for
Becoming has finished the first
issue and the rest of that will go with the March site update.
In comics, an issue is 23 pages long, so that's half the actual
story. She doesn't yet have an ETA on the remainder, but
has promised to complete it!
The 2009 schedule is set!
For February we have BrittanyG hosting
Guardian of Honor by Robin Owens and
Ms Owen will be by to answer reader questions. In March,
Donna will host In The Blood by
Adrian Phoenix
This month we have an enter-to-win and a trivia contest.
The prize? A signed copy of any of my books.
And
keep an eye on my Twitter updates because I've got bookshelves
that need clearing!
